rite now
im in an Ethiopian coffee shoppe
and this dude
just started talking to me
with his lil daughter
he was talking to his lil daughter probably 5 years old
he calls her midget
and he comes up behind me
and he says see like this dudes coat
i like his coat
its stylish but not expensive cause it looks like he got it at a thrift store
then he started telling me about his leather coat he got from a thrift store
and hes probably in his 40s
and i can tell
he loves his daughter so much
she is everything to him
it is a film
waiting to be
and hes stocking their plastic forks
and knives
and shes asking him
why do we have to do this daddy
and hes like
well midget, this is what daddy does so that we havemoney to live
and
then there is tonnes of art on the walls
and shes saying i thought mommy said this stuff isnt art
and hes taking her around the shoppe
pointing to the art peices
saying not all paintinngs need to be about somehting
sme are just pretty colours
and this is what mommy calls breaking the rules of art
right here
but
i dont agree
cause these colours are beautiful
and they speak too
like other paintinngs
so
i just wanted to show you that
so that you dont grow up thinking that all art needs to be a painitng of something you can make out
and shes like
thanks daddy for showing me those things
yeah no problem midget...
ok
anyway
that was for me
i write things downe so i dont foget them and so i can include them in a movie i make one day
but i thought id make this one an email to you so you can hear the story too
but ill save this as well
so i can have it
ok
bye
